Welcome to Magede Primary School, a vibrant learning community dedicated to empowering students to succeed in an ever-changing world. Established in 1952, we have a rich history of providing quality education to students from surrounding rural communities. Originally administered by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the school has been under the guidance of the Gokwe South Rural District Council (RDC) since 1980. We take pride in our heritage, named after Village Head Magede, whose homestead is located nearby.
To provide a conducive learning and sporting environment, offering equal opportunities for all students through participatory and inclusive approaches.
To groom academically competent, productive graduates and sports persons, nurtured in a professional working and learning environment.
We believe that providing education and serving God and mankind are principles too important to abandon.
With experienced leadership and dedicated staff, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning experience.
A journey of a thousand miles starts with one humble step, and we need you.
We offer a ZIMSEC heritage-based curriculum tailored to bring out learners that are “fit for life” and ready to contribute to the economy of the country.
It takes a village to raise a child. At Magede Primary School, we run with a philosophy that makes the community the core how we educate.
Working towards being the epitome of excellence, Magede has already started brining out the success in students from the Chirima community.
